who we are. . .
Mountain Home Electric-Technology was founded in 2003 with the goal to bring electrical wiring and innovative computer technology together , in residential homes and small businesses.
Co-founders Mark Tedsen and Don Walterman shared a common ideal to provide the highest level of customer service in the vocations that they loved - electrical and low voltage integration.
Five years later Lee Shaler started his career as an electrician with Mountain Home Technology.
Embracing the philosophy of Mark & Don, Lee excelled to a management position in the company that led him to eventually take ownership of the company in 2021, and alongside Mark Tedsen has been adapting to Big Sky's construction and service demands.

Technology is utilized in the daily operations of the company, with service technicians using iPads for administrative tasks, thru the use of time and cost saving systems, such as lighting systems ,
As Lee's role has morphed from employee, to partner and is quickly becoming sole owner. The company was founded on a passion of the industry and providing the highest level of customer service.
Mountian Home was founded on building strong relationships with homeowners, builders, and community businesses. Lee has continued these relationships by focussing on the best customer service, whether it be a service call for a homeowner, keeping the schedule for a builder while staying within budget, to prioritizing electrical service for local businesses.
As Mountain Home Electric looks back and celebrates over 20 years of business in Big Sky, with more excitement we look forward to the future as we bring creative energy to a new generation of electricians for Mountain Home Electric's clients to continue the core values which made Mountain Home successful and a foundation of business's in Big Sky. Lee's passion for the Big Sky community and the business is greater than that of the founders!
